Founded in 1952 (Its origin: Zhenjiang Commerce School of Southern Jiangsu) and subsequently evolved into the present vocational institute form in 2002 via merger of institutions.
The institute covers two campuses (Jiangning and Guanghua) with a total campus area over about 66 hectares.
Academic scale: more than 12,000 full-time students.
