Course Requirements

  • 1. Attendance and Participation:

    • Students are expected to join all sessions via online by watching all videos uploaded for at least 240 seconds. As it as asynchronus, you can access the videos at your own convenients.
    • Ensure a stable internet connection for attending all sessions, participating in quiz, and accessing course materials.
  • 2. Discussion Posts:

    • Post reflections on topics in the online discussion forum. These discussions should share your thoughts on the readings and how gender stereotypes impact family decision-making and help deepen your understanding and contribute to course participation.
  • 3. Assessment (Quiz Submission):

    • Students must participate on pre-test quiz related to the topics consisting 5 questions in 10 minutes.
    • Students must complete an post-test quiz related to the topics consisting 30 questions in 30 minutes. To pass this course, the minimum of the quiz must be 70 out of 100.
  • Course Description

    This course explores the dynamics of gender roles and stereotypes within family decision-making processes, highlighting their impact on equality and overall family well-being. Students will critically analyze how traditional gender roles influence communication, responsibilities, and decision-making power within family settings. Through discussions, materials, and reflective exercises, the course aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to recognize and challenge gender stereotypes, fostering more equitable family relationships.

    By the end of the course, students will be able to:

    1. Understand Gender Stereotypes: Identify and explain common gender stereotypes within family settings and their impact on decision-making.
