Ms. Lv Xiaomei is an accomplished Associate Professor with a Master of Engineering, specializing in mechanical design and elevator engineering. She is a dedicated educator with strong academic and industry expertise, particularly in the field of elevator systems and standards.
She teaches key courses such as Escalator and Elevator Structure and Working Principles as well as Elevator Regulations, Standards, and Inspection & Testing, equipping students with both theoretical knowledge and practical understanding. Her excellence in teaching has been recognized through honors including “Excellent Teacher,” the “Teaching Quality Excellence Award,” and a Second Prize in the 2023 Provincial Teaching Ability Competition.
Beyond the classroom, Lv Xiaomei has made significant contributions to curriculum development, leading the creation of a high-quality course and a university-level featured course. She has also been actively involved in developing the Elevator Teaching Resource Database and contributing to brand program initiatives.
Her academic contributions include leading eight university-level research and teaching reform projects, as well as participating in three provincial and municipal research projects. She has published eight academic papers and holds one utility model patent, demonstrating her engagement in both research and innovation.
