Zhang Leilei holds a PhD and is a dual-qualified core faculty member with strong integration of academic research and professional practice. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Metallic Materials from Jilin University in 2009 and received her PhD from the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2014. In the same year, she joined Guangdong Environmental Protection Engineering Vocational College as a full-time teacher, where she has continued to teach and conduct research to the present day.


Dr. Zhang has extensive teaching experience in new energy and hydrogen-related technologies. Her main courses include New Energy Materials, Operation and Maintenance of Hydrogen Energy Vehicle Power Systems, Hydrogen Safety Technology, Engineering Drawing and CAD, and Industrial Solid Waste Recycling Technology. She has led the construction of one school-level excellent course and one ideological and political education demonstration course, and has served as editor for three school-based textbooks, contributing significantly to curriculum development and instructional quality.


She is highly active in student skills training and competition coaching, guiding students in events related to modern chemical HSE, hydrogen production, storage, and power generation, fuel cell technology, and new energy vehicle maintenance. Under her mentorship, students have won numerous awards, and she has been repeatedly honored with the title of Excellent Coach.


Dr. Zhang’s research and professional practice focus on lithium-ion batteries and fuel cell technologies. She has published multiple research papers in these areas and has been recognized as a National Battery Industry Technical Expert, reflecting her strong influence in both academic research and industry-oriented technology application.
