Yao Weiqing holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and is an Associate Professor. He is a member of the Jiusan Society, an expert of the Guangdong Cleaner Production Association, and a member of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of Sanitary Engineering and Human Factors Engineering. With 15 years of teaching experience, he has extensive expertise in teaching reform, policy research on air pollution control, and environmental engineering practice.
He has hosted or participated in more than 20 educational and scientific research projects and has published over 20 academic papers, including four core journal articles. He is the author of the textbook “Atmospheric Governance Technology,” which was selected as a national vocational education planning textbook during China’s 14th Five-Year Plan period. He has also received provincial-level awards in teaching skills competitions.
Yao Weiqing has guided students to win one national-level award and five provincial-level awards in skills competitions and the “Challenge Cup” organized by educational authorities. In addition, he has led seven industry-funded research projects with a total contract value of approximately 1 million RMB.
