Somali International University (SIU) is a private, non-profit higher education institution committed to providing quality education to the Somali population, particularly during a period when the country continues to recover from the collapse of the central government.
Since its establishment in 2012, SIU has emerged as a significant higher education institution in Somalia, contributing to the development of human resources and expanding access to quality education. SIU currently operates four campuses across Mogadishu, which serve as hubs for a range of innovative undergraduate programs. In addition, the university is planning to establish a fifth campus on the outskirts of Mogadishu. This expansion is expected to further extend SIU's reach and make higher education more accessible to students from different parts of the city.
