Guangdong Polytechnic of Environmental Protection Engineering (Guangdong Environmental Protection Vocational College) is a full-time public higher vocational institution located in Foshan City, Guangdong Province, China, and administered by the Guangdong Provincial People’s Government. The college is recognized as a pilot unit of the Ministry of Education’s modern apprenticeship system, a high-level vocational college construction unit in Guangdong Province, and a vice-chairman unit of the National Steering Committee for Ecological and Environmental Protection.
Founded in 1978, the institution has evolved into a leading provider of applied education in environmental protection and related fields. As of March 2025, it operates two campuses in Foshan and Guangzhou, serving over 13,000 students with support from more than 700 faculty and staff members. The college offers 34 higher vocational majors across 8 secondary colleges, including national key majors and provincial high-level professional groups, supported by teaching and research facilities valued at over RMB 104 million.
